Jordaan Canal House
A narrow canal house that tells you about the staircase first and the beams second.
The Jordaan house is pretty in the way Amsterdam is pretty, which includes a staircase that photographs as a detail and lives as a workout. The size limit is about that staircase. A small dog who is fine with steps will have a good weekend. A large dog will not, and the listing says so.
Vondelpark is twenty minutes of pleasant walking if you leave before the bikes get serious. The host leaves a towel at the bottom of the stairs on purpose. Please use it. Example rates do not include a tram ticket or a café that changed its mind about dogs.
House notes
- One dog. No exceptions for 'they are fine in a carrier' on the top floor.
- Leash on in the stair hall so nobody meets a neighbor by surprise.
- The fee is for cleaning. Damage is separate, as it should be.
