Vondelpark loop
The walk that makes a canal-house stay feel possible.
Vondelpark is the pressure valve for Amsterdam. Do it before you wander the Jordaan, not after everyone is overstimulated. Bikes do not slow down because a dog is cute.
The Jordaan Canal House is a short city walk away for a small dog who handles stairs. If yours does not, enjoy the park and pick a different stay. The park will still be there.
Good to know
- Keep the leash short on bridges and bike streets.
- Cafés at the park edge are a maybe. Ask before you sit.
- Cobbles plus tired paws is how good days end badly. Stop before that.
Leash: Follow the park signs. Short leash on the way there, because of bikes.
